The Natural Garden Coach is owned and operated by Jean McWeeney. A graduate of the University of Texas with a degree in Biology, Jean has been gardening and helping others with their gardens for over 30 years. Jean is a Master Gardener with a wealth of knowledge for help in bringing out the best in your garden.

Jean formerly worked in the world of high tech while concurrently dabbling in her passion by working on her own garden (an award-winning xeriscape garden in Austin, Texas), getting certified in landscape design, helping friends and neighbors with their landscapes, and working at a nursery on weekends. She now devotes all of her energy to garden coaching, copy editing for garden magazines, freelance garden writing, volunteering at the farmers' market (where you can find her at the welcome tent most Saturdays), and blogging about her own north Louisiana garden. Her own garden is informal, organic, all about attracting wildlife, and as with all gardens, a work in progress.
